DEX Imaging doesn’t believe that it’s someone else’s job to contribute to building a better community; we know we all must roll up our sleeves and do it ourselves. That’s why we take a leadership role and put front and center the missions of charities, the arts, sports and local events that help those in need.

We believe that building a better place to live starts with each of us, and takes continuous commitment to achieve real improvement. That’s why we were formed not to donate haphazardly, but instead to dedicate a third of our profits to causes that enrich the lives of everyone in our communities, benefit health, housing and education and make our towns and cities better places to live in.

We believe dedicated philanthropy can create a better, more connected community in several ways:

1. Addressing important issues: Through philanthropic activities, DEX Imaging can address social and environmental issues that impact the community. For example, we seek out innovative solutions, donate much-needed funds and volunteer time to local charities that address inequality, provide for those in need or support education. By working on these issues, we help to create a more equitable and prosperous community.

2. Building relationships: Philanthropy helps us build relationships with members of the community. By supporting local events, sponsoring programs or initiatives, and participating in community service projects, we demonstrate by example that we care about the community and are invested in its success. This helps create a sense of connection and builds trust, especially between each of our DEX Imaging branch offices and the communities we serve.

3. Encouraging employee engagement: When we engage in philanthropic activities, we also encourage our employees to get involved as well. This energizes and creates a sense of pride and purpose among our staff, who feel that they are making a positive impact on the community. This can also help to build stronger relationships between employees and organizations as they work together to support a common cause.

4. Creating a positive, self-reinforcing beneficial effect: Philanthropic activities help us build self-reinforcing positive results in the community. By demonstrating our commitment to social responsibility, we creative positive feedback loops that build trust and respect within the community.
