Overview

The HP Color LaserJet Managed Flow MFP E877z is an A3 color multifunction printer for busy departments on a managed print agreement. As shipped it prints and copies at up to 40 pages per minute and handles paper up to 12 x 18 inches.

HP sells the E877z as a base unit whose speed is set by license: optional electronic speed licenses raise it to 50, 60 or 70 ppm, so the same device can be upgraded as volumes grow. The Flow configuration adds a 300-sheet single-pass duplex feeder rated at up to 300 images per minute, a full-size keyboard and embedded OCR.
